HOW WE’VE HELPED
Orphan’s Promise joins hands with CBN International and local churches as well as organizations working in the countries we serve to enable us to do more. By joining forces, we can combine our expertise, finances and oversight of the work being done. This has proven to be a highly efficient way to work and allows us to see proof of performance.
We have oversight on many levels; both locally, through our CBN International Directors, and by visiting the various projects in person. We produce videos during our visits and we also get reports and photos from the field on each project regularly.
Proof of Performance:
One of the best ways to determine our effectiveness is to gather before & after pictures of various projects in work as well as the reports we receive from the field workers. Below are just a few of the Orphan’s Promise projects in three of the countries we serve. please click here to see all the countries we’re in.
A young boy, orphaned by the devastation in Haiti after the earthquake, was living in this hand-made, crude structure. Orphan’s Promise found him, built him a new home near one of the facilities that we support so he now has a home AND a family!
Before Orphan’s Promise came and helped rebuild the broken down, dilapidated school house for the children in a remote village of China, the children were with-out the benefit of an education, not to mention FUN!
Today the school is full of children who love to come, study and play. What a huge difference this has made in the lives of this entire village!
Orphan’s Promise supports a program that has been a real blessing to the children of Myanmar, formerly Burma. Recently, about 450 children from 4 schools attended a special day that included games, food, health clinics, Bible stories, dramas, songs, making Gospel bracelets, health and nutrition education, and a run for relief event (fun run).
As we were watching the children having so much fun, someone commented, “Watching this, it is difficult to believe that we are basically in a war zone.” to which some-one else wisely said, “That is exactly why we do this…to take back that which the enemy has stolen from these children, and give them a moment of peace, safety, joy, hope and love.”
Orphan’s Promise, a ministry of the Christian Broadcasting Network, founded by Terry Meeuwsen, was created to minister to the physical, spiritual and educational needs of orphaned and abandoned children by providing loving care, training for future independence and the hope of the Gospel. Through the ministry of Orphan’s Promise, parentless children and other poor and defenseless youngsters can discover that God loves them and has a plan and a purpose for their lives.
The goal of Orphan’s Promise is to develop a support network of donors and cooperative partners who share our vision in helping to significantly impact the lives of orphans and vulnerable children around the world. The opportunity to impact an orphan’s life is now. Be a part of the promise today.
Reach children around the world through something as simple as a prayer. By praying together, we can change lives and offer God’s hope to children who need His loving touch. Make a commitment today to join us daily using the powerful element of prayer.

Why ARMAC Insurance Agency donates to Orphan’s Promise by Ross & Barbara McEachron
Even through hard economic times we have witnessed God’s blessing on our insurance business. We are thankful that from the time we were married over 40 years ago that financial giving to ministry has been an integral and very important part of our lives together. So it was not by accident that when we heard Terry Meeuwsen speak at a CBN conference in Scottsdale, Arizona a few years back that we knew we must become involved.
We have taken the support of Orphan’s Promise to another level of giving by including our staff. They were encouraged to become involved and thus we launched a company wide giving campaign that began in 2011.
ARMAC would give $500 per month on behalf of our staff. In addition ARMAC would match all funds donated by our employees. But we took it one step further and committed an additional $5.00 to be donated for each new policy written. We gave our staff periodic updates and watched as the numbers increased. This past year, we saw 91 separate donations total $21,674.96!
Challenges are great during these times and we are ever thankful to be able to give as a result of God’s continued blessing.
Families Tell Why They Give
“Our family supports Orphans Promise because we know that our donations will have a Kingdom impact for the millions of orphans around the world. We have been able to see first-hand how Orphans Promise works together with reputable missions in each country to address the issues at the local level. So many of these children have no hope. Orphans Promise not only meets their physical needs, but delivers to them the hope that is in Christ Jesus!” Christian & Colleen
“We are proud to support Orphans Promise. In James 1:27 God declares that caring for the orphans is pure and faultless religion. We have seen first hand the changed lives because of the work of Orphans Promise.
Our lives have been changed forever.” June and Gavin, Prescott, AZ
